The Collins COBUILD Grading Scheme has been designed to help readers both enjoy and benefit from their extensive reading experience.

The Grading Scheme uses the Common European Framework 'can do' statements and structures as its basis. So if you know your students' CEF level, you can immediately choose the right level of readers for your class:


Note that the Agatha Christie mysteries are not graded according to the Collins COBUILD Grading Scheme. These readers were written with upper-intermediate (B2) learners in mind - they are longer and more challenging than the level 4 graded readers.
